  15. I chose the Sea Shepherd as a non-for-profit organization because I often inform about its actions. Here we have its mission:
    Sea Sheperd's Mission Statement:
    "Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
    Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations."
    We can distinguish the What, the How, and the Why:
    WHAT: Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization.
    HOW: Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced ocean ecosystems...
    WHY: ...Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.
    Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.

    Just because I like to stress the need that today the world is asking (sustainable entities), I would like to point out that Greenpeace has been the subject of several scandals.
     I firmly believe Paul Watson (founder of Greenpeace) already knew it when, in 1977, left Greenpeace to found, in fact, the Sea Shepherd.
    If this was a not-for-profit organization,it wouldn't count millions of dollars unused and suspected outputs, is totally immoral receiving wages to 6 digits, sitting at beautiful desks to fight the slaughter of whales, seals or dolphins.
    The whole movement is held on the efforts, the tears, the blood of those who fight for ecological justice with minimal resources, while a small group of elite benefits from the wealth of activities from public relations and fundraising.

  16. "In 1990 the World Health Organization, about twenty years after the beginning of the movement of Palliative Care, developed a definition that indicated as integral and active treatment or appropriate treatment for all chronic diseases and evolutionary, not only, therefore, oncological at an advanced stage, but also for all neurological diseases, respiratory, cardiology.
    Despite this, in Italy, when you say you still think palliative to something useless.
    Palliative care is not synonymous with useless palliative derives from the Latin "pallium" which means cloak, which simply serves to protect the patient and his family during his illness.
    This is the reality, that is. This is to Antea is not enough: we want more. We want to help to disseminate palliative care and we want to think of making the application better. This is because our actions, it would be simplistic to define work, is based on short and basic principles:
    • Access to Palliative Care is an inviolable human right that must be guaranteed wherever you are sick person, and regardless of their social and economic status;
    • The suffering and abandonment must not delete the dignity of the person;
    • Patients in the advanced stages of the disease are people with something unique to share.
    Twenty-five years ago we decided to make a commitment, we chose not to turn their faces in front of what was a problem and, although in a different way, it still is. We chose to donate all of our time to those who do not have time anymore. We chose to do the best to offer quality to those who felt abandoned. And last but not least, we have chosen to do it with a smile because if Palliative Care should be understood as a holistic approach and not mere drug therapy, this is that something extra that Antea decided to give.
    Antea is, has been, and hopefully will be a story yet to be written ..."
    WHAT: "We want to help to disseminate palliative care and we want to think of making the application better."
    HOW:" • Access to Palliative Care is an inviolable human right that must be guaranteed wherever you are sick person, and regardless of their social and economic status;

    • The suffering and abandonment must not delete the dignity of the person;

    • Patients in the advanced stages of the disease are people with something unique to share. "

    WHY: Because they think in the human rights.
