I chose my Bachelor Degree in english, since I have been all my life on an International School and had all my courses in english. Therefore, I want to keep the International atmosphere and have my courses still in english.
I chose it because, in my opinion, it is an attractive, innovative bachelor program. It could give me the right skills and competencies in different fields. Also because I think that the english language is basically important nowadays. It can bring people from different countries and cultures togheter in addition to the fact that I will have the opportunity to improve my English, to continue my university career and, in the future, to look for a job opportunity also abroad.

I chose the Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, as I am interested in global economics and international business. In my opinion, this is a great opportunity for my future career because it provides an excellent education in modern and international subjects and its teaching approach let student experience directly the economic world through a constant interactions with companies. I attended to the University of Cambridge ESOL: it helped me to make my choice towards a new course of graduation entirely thought in English. I applied to this Bachelor degree in Business Administration because one of my aims is that to work abroad or for companies which have an established market in foreign countries (not because I'm masochistic, as some of my peers think). Moreover, I've always studied English with interest, so since I have the tools, I thought it would be a good investment.
I chose the BBA course in English because when I was in the Philippines I used to speak in English. In my country we speak English at school and it is used to official communications, it is our second official language. Since I've been living here for 6-7 years I've almost forgotten speaking in English and now I speak 'romanesco' xd. Once I went back there for holidays and I was surprised by my 9-year-old cousins speaking fluently English and I almost couldn't understand them because I wasn't used to hear the language. That's my WHY. I want my own language back. I also believe that studying in English will strongly add a great value on my 'curriculum vitae'. It will let me easily enter to international environment. I can use what I did on degree whenever I go, not just in Italy or in my origin country.

I've chosen this english course despite of the fact I've passed italian test because an english degree allow you to do international experience without any problems for language and because you have more possibility for international jobs. Even though it may be more difficult than an italian course it will pay you back all the time spent for studying.

In choosing my university course, I was so confused: it seemed that i wanted to attend all of them! Finally, my choice was for economic studies, but I wouldn't have ever known the existence of this course as long as my friend told me. At first, I hesitated, but then I thought that English was the subject I've been always good at, so I accepted this challenge. When choosing my university i had many options back in the Uk to do business. I needed a university whom could teach me business and also allow me to still do my sport. Italian fencing is one of the best in the world so italy was where to come and luckily tor vergata had a course in english for my choice of subject. I cannot speak italian very well so the course had to be in english this is the reason i chose this course.

For me to study in English is easier than Italian and when I finish my bachelor corse I can have an international choice to study in another English city to continuos my economic study!
In my point of view , a degree in Business and Administration offers us many opportunities for our future. Of course, you are not guaranteed a good-paying job with an economics degree, but your chances are higher than in other programs. With an economics degree you can work in a variety of different fields from finance and banking, public policy, sales and marketing, civil service (government departments, the Federal Reserve, etc.), insurance and actuarial work, etc. You can also go on to do further studies in economics, political science, business, or a variety of other fields. In additional to this, getting a degree in a foreign language permit us to interact with an external environment. I think that all this is very important for a good future career.

And clearly also because the possibilities to find a work with an english bachelor probably are higher then with the italian bachelors. The main reason of my choice is that nowadays learning English is becoming fundamental to every kind of job. Moreover Business Administration is the faculty that I have always wanted to choose. This course has satisfied my both needs, and also the fee is much lower, different with other similar degrees in English. In addition the university is very close to my home, I don`t even need to move. Furthermore here I can find a more international environment and meet more different people.

ReplyDeleteIn these years when everything seems to be going down, we have to protect ourself and our future too, this is why I have choose to attend the bachelor degree in English because nowadays in one of the few certainties that we have. The economic's world is mainly English and moreover it can give me the possibility, in the future, to choose my job, I guess, because I think that I'm doing something different from the mass and these starting difficulties in the future will be my strong points to achieve my goals.

Secondly, it gives me opportunity to socialize with the people from different countries which is interesting, furthermore as my plans are to work in the international company in the future knowing business English is crucial for me.

ReplyDeleteIn choosing my university course, I was so confused: it seemed that i wanted to attend all of them! Finally, my choice was for economic studies, but I wouldn't have ever known the existence of this course as long as my friend told me. At first, I hesitated, but then I thought that English was the subject I've been always good at, so I accepted this challenge. Although I'm far from my hometown, I realised that this is the real course I want to attend and I hope that the bachelor degree will give me opportunities to achieve the objectives of my life.
ReplyDeleteWhen choosing my university i had many options back in the Uk to do business. I needed a university whom could teach me business and also allow me to still do my sport. Italian fencing is one of the best in the world so italy was where to come and luckily tor vergata had a course in english for my choice of subject. I cannot speak italian very well so the course had to be in english this is the reason i chose this course.

ReplyDeleteI decided to take part in this bachelor in English first of all because I like economics a lot, then because I feel at ease with the English language and I love speaking it.
ReplyDeleteFurthermore, I think that nowadays studying one of the most important and current subjects in the international language, can give me more job opportunities than an economics Italian university.
Since these last years of my adolescence I started thinking about an eventual economics career, I tried to carry on this aim in order to get, I hope, an important position in an international and well-known company. Then current economy is representing more and more a huge problems for our daily lives for many factors and a lot of specialists are working on it in order to solve them and to make our countries services and institutions more efficient, but at least by now we didn’t notice significant improvements.
So I think that after this beachelor degree in English we could be also more motivated and capable to try improving the current economic society.

For me to study in English is easier than Italian and when I finish my bachelor corse I can have an international choice to study in another English city to continuos my economic study!
ReplyDeleteIn my point of view , a degree in Business and Administration offers us many opportunities for our future. Of course, you are not guaranteed a good-paying job with an economics degree, but your chances are higher than in other programs. With an economics degree you can work in a variety of different fields from finance and banking, public policy, sales and marketing, civil service (government departments, the Federal Reserve, etc.), insurance and actuarial work, etc. You can also go on to do further studies in economics, political science, business, or a variety of other fields. In additional to this, getting a degree in a foreign language permit us to interact with an external environment. I think that all this is very important for a good future career.
ReplyDeleteI chose to do my bachelor in English because I want to work all around the world in the future and doing my bachelor in English can help me reach that goal. I also like to meet people from different cultures and this is a great way to meet other people. Furthermore it helps to improve my English and especially get familiar with business terms in English.
ReplyDeleteI chose this kind of bachelor becouse I have a passion for english. I love listening english music and watching the american\english films in their original language. And clearly also because the possibilities to find a work with an english bachelor probably are higher then with the italian bachelors. Another reason that pushed me in this choice is the attention to the particulars and all the opportunity that it offers for instance the free english spoken language course.
ReplyDeleteI always had the desire to fulfill my dream to be graduated. I had to stop studying for family problems. I quickly found a job and I did a nice career. I had many satisfactions in my differents jobs. I chose business administration because I find it more close to the work I do. I did not choose to study to find a job, but for personal satisfaction.

ReplyDeleteI chose a bachelor in English because the labour market now days requires high skilled professionals, and a bachelor degree in English will give you advantages compared with others that have studied in their national languages (not because they are not good or less important), but because English is a world wide known language. It gives you also the opporunity to be in relationship with people from different countries, and you can learn a lot from their experiences and culture.
